1. Role of CleanerFinder (Platform Nature)
CleanerFinder is a technology matching platform and digital directory. CleanerFinder does not provide house cleaning services directly and is not an employer of cleaning professionals.
- Our role is limited to connecting residential homeowners and tenants ("Homeowners") seeking cleaning assistance with independent local cleaning companies and freelance contractors ("Cleaning Contractors").
- All cleaning professionals listed or matched through CleanerFinder are independent third-party businesses. They retain full discretion over their operating schedules, cleaning techniques, equipment, cleaning supplies, and contractual agreements.
- CleanerFinder does not supervise, direct, or control the day-to-day operations or on-site cleaning work performed by Cleaning Contractors.
2. Free Quotes & Price Estimates
All pricing figures, average cost ranges, and preliminary quotes generated through our multi-step quote request tool or displayed on city/neighborhood pages are non-binding estimates intended solely for budgeting convenience.
- Actual quotes and final service fees are set directly between the Homeowner and the matched Cleaning Contractor based on on-site inspection, home condition, exact square footage, clutter level, and requested add-ons.
- CleanerFinder makes no representation or warranty that any Cleaning Contractor will agree to perform services at the estimated price shown in preliminary calculations.
3. Homeowner Responsibilities
When using our Platform to request cleaning quotes, you represent and agree that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into binding agreements.
- You will provide accurate, truthful, and complete information regarding your home's size, room count, pet situation, and location.
- You consent to be contacted by matched Cleaning Contractors via phone, SMS, email, or WhatsApp regarding your requested estimate.
- You are solely responsible for evaluating, interviewing, selecting, and contracting with any Cleaning Contractor who contacts you.
4. Independent Contractor & Direct Payments
Any contract or agreement for residential cleaning services is established solely and directly between the Homeowner and the Cleaning Contractor.
- CleanerFinder is not a party to any contract between Homeowners and Cleaning Contractors.
- All payments for cleaning services, cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and tipping are handled directly between you and your chosen cleaner. CleanerFinder does not collect payment for cleaning jobs on behalf of contractors.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CleanerFinder, its founders, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Property damage, theft, bodily injury, or loss arising from or relating to services performed by any Cleaning Contractor.
- Disputes between Homeowners and Cleaning Contractors regarding service quality, timeliness, payment disputes, or breach of agreement.
- Any errors, omissions, interruptions, or delays in platform operation or transmission of quote requests.
Homeowners are advised to independently verify that any hired cleaning company carries valid commercial general liability insurance and relevant state or local licenses.
6. Intellectual Property & Prohibited Uses
All content on CleanerFinder, including text, graphics, logos, neighborhood descriptions, price calculation algorithms, code, and layout design, is the exclusive property of CleanerFinder and protected by United States and international copyright laws.
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, spider, crawl, or harvest neighborhood listings, directory data, or contractor information through automated bots.
- Use our Platform to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or phishing communications.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any code or structure of CleanerFinder.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of CleanerFinder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
